SHAURYA came into being as a proprietary firm in January 2014 with the objective of helping corporates comply with the provisions of the POSH Act that came into effect in 2013. SHAURYA is an acronym for “Sexual Harassment Awareness Understanding Redressal Youth Advisory”. SHAURYA quickly gained recognition for its competence and dedication to creating safe workplaces for women. In 2024 the founders took the decision to incorporate Shaurya4equality Pvt. Ltd., and to act as a catalyst for psitive change not only for prevention of sexual harassment but for also working for ensuring equality in our society, by spreading awareness, advocating its importance and initiating actions for its accomplishment.
